Stolen vehicles ‘found’ through Intrada ALPR
The camera and surveillance system from Hillsafety, has automatically detected a stolen vehicle by recognizing the license plate on the business area Molenwetering in Alphen aan den Rijn. (Source: Alphens Nieuwsblad, Aug. 2005).
The hart of the security system delivered at Molenwetering is based on cameras with license plate recognition. The license plate was checked at the same time with the online stolen car list. Directly the surveillance system of Hillsafety informed the police. Just a few moments afterwards the person from the stolen vehicle was arrested, it seemed he was also not in the possession of a driving license.
Please contact Hillsafety for more details about this security system.
